Crossroad Kids is a ministry of Mt. Sterling First Church of the Nazarene and is devoted to ministering to the children and families of the great Mt. Sterling community.  It is our desire to encourage Kids to make wise choices in life.  We want to encourage them to apply to their lives the truths taught from God's Word, whether they are at home, on the playground, or at school. 

It is our prayer that they will choose daily to follow Christ.

Joshua 25:15 "...choose you this day who you will serve...As for me... I will serve the Lord!"




SIGNALS
is our Wednesday evening program for kids age 4 thru 5^th grade (7-8 pm; doors open at 6:30 pm), beginning September 15, 2010.

This year we will be teaching two, three and four week hands-on classes on topics we feel will help kids throughout life.  They will not only be taught these life skills but will be taught how Christ and the Bible relate to these areas of life.

We have four groups:
CONSTRUCTION CREW (age 4 - K): This group will have a class time that will include a lesson and snack time to help them learn why it is so important for us to follow rules and get along.

RED LIGHT (1^st and 2^nd grade); YELLOW LIGHT (3^rd and 4^th grade); and GREEN LIGHT (5^th grade):  All three groups will operate identically but will be separated.  Each group will have a separate class.  These classes will cover topics we feel will be of value or interest throughout life.  These classes will include instruction by someone who has working knowledge in the field and will provide hands-on activities or projects to complete as well as possible field trips for your children to learn and develop their skills.

9:30 am - SUNDAY SCHOOL.  We have classes for each grade where you learn fun and interesting things about the Bible with kids your age.  We also have classes for your parents too!
